WHAT IS IT?
Paranoid schizophrenia is one of the most common
schizophrenia in the world. These patients have false beliefs about the world.
As said in the name, they are ‘paranoid’ about everyone else. They tend to
become suspicious that other people are going against them and they believe
that other people are offensive to them. A person diagnosed with the paranoid
schizophrenia loses touch with reality and tend to have hallucinations which
affects what they hear, see, feel and what they think. Their false beliefs that
they have are more powerful and influential than themselves.
Paranoid schizophrenia is a long term condition that can
lead up to suicidal thoughts and behaviours, if they don’t have proper
treatment and support.
